Graduating from the University of Florida, with a degree in finance, Cary Hart never imagined that a passion for food and the restaurant industry would become his career of choice. Opening his first restaurant in Gainesville, Florida in 1983, Hart quickly became one of the town's most successful restaurateurs.
With the vision of expansion, Hart came to Ponte Vedra in 1988 and opened what is now known as Aqua Grill. Twenty one years of success does not allow Cary Hart to rest on his laurels, as he constantly looks for ways to keep the ambience and menu interesting and fresh. Still recognized as one of the Jacksonville area's most successful restaurant operators, Hart continues his dedication to making the customer happy. When asked how he has managed to grow a business during a recession, Cary Hart says, "The recipe for success is easy. Do whatever it takes to please the customer and make them feel as if they are dining with friends!" An old fashioned, back to basics approach to business that still works in today's economy.
